BRYTPUNKTEN
The year is 2030 and the U.N's climate deadline approaches. A young couple leaves the city for the countryside to start a new life, aiming to be self-sustaining. They are peacefully excited about their future together – until the world outside their bubble intrudes when the conversation about having children arises.
A Certain Future (Orig. title Brytpunkten) is a short film created and produced by Futency Studios.
"I wanted the film to express the worry and frustration that I and many in my generation feel when thinking about our future — grappling with the hand we’ve been dealt.”
– Max Shore, director, screenwriter, and editor.
